Dr. Shirley Weber, California’s Secretary of State, who will speak to us about the November elections. Dr. Weber helped establish the Department of African Studies at SDSU, served on the San Diego Board of Education, and was elected to the State Assembly before being appointed as Secretary of State by Gov. Newsom.

With gun violence out of control, we think it’s important to address what can be done so that no more children are killed by illegal guns. Carl Bogus, Distinguished Professor of Law at Roger Williams University, will discuss the Supreme Court’s interpretation of the Second Amendment. We’ll also be joined by Ron Marcus, President of San Diegans for Gun Violence Prevention.
